Overcoming a legacy of abuse and neglect, Prix harnesses the skills necessary to survive. At 16, she is at the top of her game as the leader of a gang of African-American teenage girls; at 30, the game is finally over. Breath, Boom is a searing glimpse of young women on the edge.
